Knights Move

Mike from Knights Move arranged a visit to suit us to discuss their services and options. Knights Move honoured their quote even after our completion date was pushed back, twice. Mike was very accommodating and always available to talk. Knights Move arrived promptly on completion day, the team was professional and put us at ease. They even dealt with a plumbing emergency when disconnecting the washing machine (thanks guys!). Little touches like using roll & stroll carpet protector shows they're putting you first. We chose Knights Move based on positive reviews, now we know their rating is thoroughly deserved!

I had 3 companies come and evaluate our move (4 bedroom, 3 storey townhouse). I got the best feeling with Mike in terms of telling me the care they would take, how they would move things etc. As we had the keys to our new house a few days before the move we agreed to move the garden and garage items a day earlier. Although the quote on the reallymoving website was no where near reality, they were the best price of all 3. Communication with Mike was excellent over email and phone putting at ease any concerns. On the day, 4 guys including Deon the team leader arrived with a massive lorry. Deon quickly organised the guys and after introducing themselves they quickly got on with loading. They were very quick, but also careful with protecting items. At both, the old and new homes they put down carpet protector to make sure our carpets remained clean. At the new house, they unloaded and put things where we wanted, made up the dismantled furniture and generally were helpful, polite and efficient. Some of the stand out items were having made up a whole dismantled bed, I advised them it was in the wrong room. Recognising their mistake, the bed was taken apart again and rebuilt in the new room - no fuss at all. Also, I had a shed come over in one piece, they lifted the whole thing over a large wall and into the garden! All in all, great service, quickly done, with no problems. I would recommend Knights Move to friends and family - well worth the money. Good work guys, and thank you.

Excellent service

Fantastic, professional, nothing damaged at all during move. Clean and tidy, looked after all our items. Looked after our new sofas and bedroom furniture. No damage at all. Carpets all covered. Excellent.... friendly lads. Highly recommended

We chose these guys mainly due to wanting to use a local business over a large company and we weren't disappointed. Mike came and estimated the removal, and then had a chat to us to put our minds at ease over a few concerns we had. On moving day the guys turned up punctually and worked tirelessly & carefully throughout the day to make our move stress free. They were polite and courteous throughout the day and were a real credit to Knights Move. We would definitely recommend Mike and his company, they may not have the frills of a larger company but the certainly put 100 % into the job!

We chose knightsmove after Mike came round to give us a quote. We'd also had two large well known companies round and found Mike to be really clear with pricing and how the day would go. With two children and all the stuff that little people seem to gather we wanted everything to go smoothly. Mike assured me this would be the case and broke down how the day would go, how they would look after my large furniture items, and how they would protect my new carpets in our new home. On the day, the team arrived promptly, introduced themselves with a handshake to both me and my partner, and quickly got about removing our furniture. I can't speak highly enough of the team, they were full of banter and stories, extremely polite and they really looked after our things. Mike came along to oversee and brought another two young lads who were so lovely. The removal of our 3 bedroom home plus garage and garden items took only 4 hours. Which gave me plenty of time to clean before picking up our new keys. Once we got to our new home, the team were there waiting whilst we were shown round our new home. Within this time they went round and placed plastic sheeting over all our new carpets and added extra sheeting to the hallway - they did a sterling job and we're not phased at all by the new home being 3 storey! Mike even picked up my mop and bucket and began mopping my new kitchen floor!!!! We wouldn't hesitate to use Knightsmove again! Mike delivered everything he said he would.... a stress free, reliable and quality service! I would like to thank the whole team for being so fabulous on the day! You made what can be a totally stressful day into an exciting, dare I say funny expierence!

Mike and all his staff were very friendly polite and helpful. They were calm and efficient , making a quite stressful time for me, into a worry free move. I would definitely recommend this company, they did a great job.
