I got the impression that Cornerstone is a 'one-man' operation as the person answering the 'phone just seemed to take messages for Mr Webborn to ring back. However, when he rang, he was very helpful and had good local knowledge and experience of the blocks of flats where our prospective purchase is situated. He suggested a full Buildings Survey to ensure that the communal areas were covered as well as the flat itself. At £335 this was cheaper than some other companies charge for the less comprehensive Homebuyers Report. It was well worth the cost as a number of safety and fire precaution issues in the communal hall/stairwell were identified. My only (slight) criticism would be that I didn't know exactly when the survey would be done ("I'll make this priority for sometime next week") or when to expect the report ("about five working days after the date of the survey"). All in all I am very satisfied with Mr Webborn's service and competence and would use Cornerstone again if the need arose.

Survey completed within 4 days, only delay due to access. Price as advertised. Easy to understand and comprehensive report. Answered any questions I had in layman terms. Overall, did exactly what they said would.

Was charged £65.00 more than quoted price, but was desperate to get the survey performed so paid the extra. Survey performed very swiftly, although a little confusion over getting the final report. Having said all of the above I would still be happy to use Conerstone again.
