We chose Thames building consultancy after getting three quotes and reading all of the reviews. Robert at Thames building consultancy contacted me very promptly to discuss our needs and was very efficient throughout the process. He even called me on a weekend to discuss the visit in great length due to some concerns. The report we received was very detailed, very well written and overall we were impressed by Roberts knowledge and professionalism. Sadly, we walked away from our purchase but I am so glad we had Robert do the survey, he saved us large bills further down the line. We are currently instructing Robert again for our next survey and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a thorough survey that will be the best money spent in our opinion. Robert followed up the survey with an in depth phone call that evening before the written report was recieved. He is totally up front and has no issues with telling you exactly what he thinks, he does not hold back on anything and is worth every penny. Consequently I pulled out of the purchase. He has a really in depth working knowledge of the market in the area in which he operates. I would throughly reccomend his services.

Mr Ward is very friendly and professional. He has provided us with a full report and extra information about the building that was surveyed. The survey was for a non-standard building. Quick communication, easy service

Robert's price was very competitive and we were very happy both with the verbal feedback he gave shortly after viewing the property and the report itself. I'd seen samples of reports by other surveyors and was happy to see that Robert's was much more comprehensive, also offering recommendations of what work should be done in each instance. This was particularly useful in our case, as we are in the process of purchasing a real fixer-upper and were more interested in using the report to plan the upcoming renovation project, and less for negotiating with the seller.

Robert is super, he went out of his way to ensure that I understood his building survey report (providing a narrative of his approach, initial summary findings and many supporting photo) He also happily answered questions when the solicitor raised concerns. I would have no hesitation to use his services again and give him my full endorsement (he saved me £8000!)

Excellent service that I would recommend. The report was thorough, informative and detailed. Whilst not being too technical so unable to understand. A telephone call was also arranged to discuss the content of the report, so able to to discuss any issues, this was excellent customer service. The overall service provided allowed me to make an informed decision with confidence.
