"Immediately after completing the survey I contact the client by telephone advising them as to my findings. In Building Surveys I provide a guideline estimate of any necessary repairs. The defects reported in the survey may enable the client to negotiate a reduction in the purchase.

How very refreshing to find a surveyor who has mastered the art of plain speaking. Paul is very approachable and gets quickly to the point. We are embarking on a renovation project so we were expecting there to be issues with the property we asked Paul to survey. We needed to understand the painful reality of the work needed to bring the house up to scratch and Paul was able to do this for us in a way that enabled us to be realistic about the scale of the job, but not so terrified about taking it on. Let's just say it was a good way to find out what we really needed to know. We were hugely impressed that we received the written report on the same day the survey eas carried out, and that it was free from scary techno speak. I would describe our whole experience as engaging. We were not simply transacted. The fact that we have been able to discuss the issues with Paul has made a big difference to us and we really appreciate Paul's willingness to do this. Highly recommended.

Excellent service, Paul delivered a comprehensive report detailing work that would be required. He was approachable throughout the process, listened to my requirements and communicated in a good manner. I would recommend him to anyone requiring a comprehensive survey.

Very impressed with Paul's honesty and the speed at which he produced his report - telephone call with initial impressions whilst on site, emailed report at the end of the day and hard-copy received by post a few days later. On Paul's advice we withdrew from our purchase, so will be calling upon his services again when we find a new property.

We fully understand the consistently excellent reviews for Paul Fieldhouse on this site. Moving is stressful - mortgage companies, estate agents, solicitors all seem to add to that - but his is a rare human voice in the process, someone who gets things done quickly and efficiently and is happy to go the extra mile. Highly recommended.
