Question

There is a problem with damp in my friend's bungalow. Does she need a surveyor or structural engineer to advise her?

Answer

Hi Christine,

You can find out about the different types of damp and their effects on a home here. A Chartered Surveyor will be able to offer a Damp Survey to assess the levels of damage from the damp - whether your friend will need a structural engineer further down the line depends on how bad the damp is. You can find a Chartered Surveyor here.

I had been looking around for quotes for our move and when I thought I had all I needed I found reallymoving. After a quick process I got three quotes from local businesses that were better than the ones I had before. I spoke directly to them & was able to find the right one for our move and for a better price.
