They provide cheap quotes through reallymoving just to get client's money. They are least bothered with the speed of transaction and they don't even bother to respond to queries within time with correct information. Once the transaction is completed, they don't handover the purchase documents even after repeated requests and calls. The conveyancer is not at all bothered to talk to me.

Hello Sudeep. We were disappointed to read your comments as we always strive to ensure a client's transaction runs as smoothly as possible. Accordingly, we examined your file and noted you instructed us for your leasehold purchase in early August; you exchanged two months later and completed your purchase on 14th October. Total length of transaction was therefore 10 weeks and quicker than the current industry average of 16 weeks to completion. It is therefore difficult to agree with your assertion "we are least bothered with the speed of the transaction". With regard to purchase paperwork you refer to, we understand this to mean the paperwork to set up your account to pay your proportion of the service charge and ground rent. Unfortunately, despite several requests, the management company only issued its bank details in late January at which point we instructed our finance team to transfer the necessary funds. We recognise we did not keep you sufficiently informed on this aspect and we do apologise for that oversight. Once we have the details from the management company we can submit those and other legal documents to the Land Registry to register the title in your name.

A great process with an obvious progression on the portal showing every milestone. Except the solicitors response takes a few days and they request for scanned copies via email and originals to be sent tot them by post over several occasions instead of once asking all that they need. Great service, would definitely recommend.

We did have a very positive experience with Muve, I had to chase on a couple of occasions after being told by my buyer that there were still waiting for information. But, having said that, Rumal (our assigned conveyancer) really did go above and beyond to take care of our needs as her clients

Pick a solicitor you can see in person. Muve botched our buy/sale so and we nearly lost our buyers twice. The financials were wrong, three times. And to top it off they didn’t pay the stamp duty so the local authority issued us with a notice. I don’t know why we paid them, we did all the leg-work, including sourcing the paperwork. Our exchange date was put back countless times for various reasons. My favourite was that our solicitor had left early to go to a party. Avoid

The service received overall was good and I had a pleasant experience with my account manager who was helpful at all points of engagement however there were issues with the service; - The staff are not UK based - It was difficult to talk comfortably over the phone due to long distance phone call lag - There was a clear language barrier as English was not their first language - Replies to emails would come in most part after working hours in the evenings - Conveyancing knowledge was good but sometimes felt a lack of confidence in what I was being told Unfortunately my first purchase fell through as I was provided the incorrect number of years on the lease so I pulled out of the purchase. I had an option to extend the lease so I spoke to my conveyancer to get a quote but she did not know how lease extensions worked. Her colleague or manager had given her a quick run through and I felt it was something she just read online and was getting to grips with on the fly. When you are dealing with potentially thousands of pounds, you need to be able to trust in your conveyancer to give you the right information. Unfortunately this is where it all fell short for me and I decided to look elsewhere for representation on a new property. Additionally I had asked for a full breakdown of all costs relating to the purchase from my conveyancer so I could claim this from the other side as I had pulled out of the purchase. They failed to give me the full breakdown initially holding back legal costs as they assumed I would take up the re-quote for the new property I had chosen which was £200 more for no apparent reason. I had to challenge their accounts team until I was rightfully returned my deposit. Extra hassle that I didn't need to go through but nonetheless, I got my money back. Overall I wouldn't call the service a total blunder. They do provide a fair service, and their online portal is a good way of tracking progress. My account manager Sumudu, was very helpful. Pricewise, they are not the cheapest as my new representation was £400 cheaper and all UK based conveyancers. Overall there are improvements to be made and you would not be dealing with the worst of conveyancers in the market.
