Shocking! Failed to respond to telephone calls or e mails Refused to discuss numerous issues, stating I was not the client Actioned work without my authority, charged me for it, then stated their terms and conditions (that I had not been provided) gave them impunity from my complaint My Verbal and written complaints have been ignored

The property I was trying to buy had an annex, but the land registry has it entirely listed as a residential property. After about a month the conveyancer decided because the annex could be used on Airbnb it was a commercial property and they couldn’t represent me. And they kept my setup deposit, but did forward on the searches they had completed. No other conveyancer reached this conclusion so it’s not clear how I was supposed to know this reading the t&c’s. it feels like it your purchase is really simple then they are good otherwise the signup scrutiny is not adequate prior to instruction.

The company is efficient due to their eWay online system and this is fine for standard transactions. However, for a more complicated transaction like my purchase, I found the firm very challenging to work with. Communications between my solicitor and others in the chain was suboptimal and I was often left having to mediate and translate between them. Overall it made the process incredibly stressful.

Got charged to expedite the funds release for all it was only delayed by my Conveyancer being off unexpectedly. Really bad customer service throughout and would definately not recommend.

Whilst the sales and onboarding process appeared slick, our experience beyond that was appalling. We were stood up by the first conveyancer who didn't join an initial telephone meeting they had arranged with us. The next conveyancer (whilst more efficient) went off on maternity leave and we were handed to yet another who started her holidays on the very day she took over our case, which was within days of exchange of contracts. As a firm, they were absolutely dreadful to deal with. There was little continuity of service, they made multiple mistakes, getting through on the phone was painful in the extreme and we found ourselves having to do much of the work to get the sale over the line. THEY should be paying US - not the other way round! I have made two formal complaints about their service and could not possibly recommend them to anyone.
