    Found within The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, the Earls Court district in central London has rightfully acquired its medals in successfully contributing to Britain's culture and commerce.     Once known as 'Kangaroo Court' due to the vast amounts of Australians and New Zealanders situated within the area in the 80s, the rent has risen and the area has since gentrified.     Home to the Earls Court Exhibition Centre where many well known television, music and cultural shows and events take place, the area has become a top attraction for visitors and travellers.

    There are numerous additional landmarks which appeal to visitors, such as The Empress State Building, Finborough Theatre and also the Troubadour, a cafe which hosted up and coming artists like Jimi Hendrix, Elvis Costello and Bob Dylan. The area is also known for attracting the gay and student community, with many gay clubs and bars and a string of student welcoming pubs.

    Living in Earls Court

    The area is well equipped with great educational institutions for your children, with nurseries, primary and secondary schools and even its own sixth form. Many of the primary and secondary schools within the area obtain outstanding Ofsted reports, and are known for their exceptional standards of education.

    Earls Court contains one of the most renowned hospitals in West London, The Cromwell Hospital, so you can be sure of the medical care being of the highest calibre.

    Generally, crime rates within the area correlate with the calm atmosphere of the beautiful buildings, with a lower than the London average amount of crime reported.

    Councillors have planned to increasingly support schools and provide them with excellent sporting equipment for after school and local activities. Projects have also been administrated to increase neighbourly socialisation, improve environmental friendliness and the inclusion of the elderly population.

    Buying in Earls Court
