Warwick is a historic, picturesque town in Warwickshire. The town centre itself sits at the foot of the stunning Warwick Castle and is home to many listed buildings and places of interest. Weekly markets are held here, and twice monthly farmer’s markets which are the perfect place for buying fresh, local produce. There are plenty of retail opportunities’, including independent boutique shops. One of the locals’ favourite spots to eat and drink is The Rose and Crown.
The castle itself is a vast, Norman-era fortification that is one of the best-maintained of its kind in the country. Warwick Castle makes for a great day out for kids and adults alike, with medieval displays, beautiful gardens, and even a working catapult. If you want to avoid the crowds, you can instead walk besides the River Avon and take a visit to Warwick’s impressive church. The Priory Park is also great for walks and spending summer days in the sun.
Warwick is very well-connected and so is ideal for commuting to Birmingham or Coventry by either road and rail. But if you’re moving in the area and don’t want to get stuck amongst the tourist coaches, choose a local expert removal company with reallymoving.
