- Property Development
Parker Torrington is a professional firm of experienced RICS Surveyors specialising in both the private and public sector.
All our surveyors are regulated by RICS and offer a friendly, personal and quality service. We have extensive knowledge and experience in property services, which we are able to draw upon with each client and provide a service that suits the property and the client’s individual requirements.
For your property purchase in South Hampshire, we can provide you with a HomeBuyer Report or a Building Survey.
If you select a HomeBuyer Report for your property purchase, we will advise you on information about the significant aspects of the condition of the house. Disrepair that does not materially affect the value of the property will not normally be reported.
The survey will be completed under the terms of engagement agreed with your Chartered Surveyor; for conventionally-constructed, more recently built properties where advice is straight forward, the report may be in the standard format.
The Building Survey is more in depth than the HomeBuyer Report and will include items such as the structure, fabric, finishes and grounds, investigating and assessing the construction and condition of the property.
The Building Survey Report will comment on whether any specialist additional surveys are needed, and will refer to visible defects and provide guidance on remedial measures.
At Parker Torrington, we offer a professional and efficient service, and we will help with all your property and surveying requirements at each stage of your house move so please feel free to get in touch to see how we can assist you.
We also provide assistance with party wall - boundary disputes, commercial surveys, schedules of dilapidation and specialist investigations, such as the study of movement, cracking or timber decay in a property.
