They don’t provide any information regarding the progress of the work. A simple straight forward purchase with no chain on any side has already taken two months and no significant progress has been made. They don’t answer email from the moment the case is allocated to a solicitor. Every step of the procedure has been chased by us rather than the firm including relieving the paperwork from the seller’s solicitor. I don’t recommend this firm to any customer, the worse service ever, beside their personnel feel they’re always right when they are clearly wrong.

The house sale was completely hassle free, all calls to them were dealt with pleasantly and efficiently and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone wishing to sell their property.

They've not really kept me informed as to what is happening, and when I email them with multiple questions they often only answer one of them. I've not completed yet.

Thanks for your comments, Daniel – we’re sorry you feel you haven’t been kept informed. We will do all we can to keep you updated and answer your queries.

As a first time buyer, with nothing to compare against, I was unsure of what to expect from any conveyancer but overall I would say the service received from PM was 'ok'. This is in the sense they got the job done but I have several criticisms: - Not informed about the progress of my file unless I called myself - Rarely got calls back despite promises to do so - Didn't always get through to same person, so had to repeat myself multiple times - Sometimes unable to get through to anyone - Was not consulted before an expensive leasehold supplement was added to my bill - Was sent incorrect bill overcharging me for disbursements PM were still overall cheaper than everyone else (even after the extra charges), so anyone considering them should still bear this in mind. However, in future, if I were financially able to go elsewhere, I probably would.
