We initially chose DMG because they offered to survey the move which we preferred rather than the onus being on ourselves to estimate the number of boxes etc. They were very flexible as we had to change the move date which they accommodated. On the day of the move they arrived on time and the team were very efficient, helpful and friendly. Only one thing let them down for 5 stars and it was communication, which could be improved. If I was asked to highlight one person for excellent service it would be Alana who was consistently helpful throughout the process.

Friendly company/people, very helpful & professional from the office staff taking the order/confirming items to the lorry crew doing the hauling. Lorry arrived promptly on the day & provided a very efficient service. Would I use them again if/when moving, yes - without question.

Very poor service...over 6 hours to empty 3 bed house. Despite being advised should take around 2 hrs. Turned up and refused to take all belongings. Only after phone calls back and forth to office but demanded extra £80.Couldnt fill van left stuff behind before returning for it....we were 3 1/2 hours over time still there when new owners arrived. 3 guys on a go slow could have done job quicker myself. Made whole move very stressful. Requested cash payment day before move, which incidentally I had to call to make sure still going ahead as had not heard back from them. I had also advised of additional items prior to move so should not have had additional hassle of them refusing because of admin. Wonder if this is there style to get extra cash out of customer. Had I had my licence at hand would have chased them and hired van myself. Came very close to it. Cant believe actually tipped them at end! Turned up 10am left new house after 5pm....only moved 100m away!

In response to the customers comments regarding the Removal DMG completed on the 18th March, please find our defence as follows. The removal did take longer than the estimated time given but this was due to there being double the amount of Home Contents from what the customer stated at the time of booking, we have a copy of signed contents list. Also when the customer booked she refused our Home Survey and was completely happy to give a list over the phone, which we trusted the customer was not ready and organised as there were lots of loose contents around the house and it was also pointed out that there was a lot more items then previously mentioned. On this our DMG team called the office as realised being experienced that not all items would fit on our 7.5 tonne assigned Removal Vehicle leaving a surplice of Home Contents. The Office then called the customer and explained our predicament and also that her booking contents list was not an accurate description of what she had booked our services for, we did add an extra £60.00 not £80.00 which she was delighted with considering the amount of extra contents and that we would have to do a second journey. There was also a lot of confusion regarding a double Wardrobe that we couldn’t get down her stairs, we had to explain and also eventually demonstrate 4 times that the Wardrobe wouldn’t go out without being stripped down which took considerable time out of our Teams day. The customer was not the most cooperative person and was constantly asking our DMG Team if they had qualified removal experience and stating that they could do better as quoted in complaint. Our DMG Team found this to be extremely stressful when trying to get the customer's Removal completed. We personally believe that DMG completed the customer’s removal with expertise and patience considering the circumstances, also the fact that the customer mentioned she tipped our Team confirms we believe that she felt the same way as surely when unhappy with a service you don’t reward. In the 3 weeks it has taken the customer to complain not once has our Office been contacted regarding the Home Removal Service.

Ian and his team could not have been more helpful on the day. Great bunch of guys and would thoroughly recommend. Service in the office could have been a bit more organized but the guys who did the work on the day were outstanding.
