Hugh James Surveyors were absolutely astonishing, right from the of set. First of all i wanted a company that was affordable, honest, very experienced and one that i could trust. Having done my own research on various companies and websites in and around the area, i was recommended by more than one person to use Hugh James Surveyors and they were exceptional, from start to finish. At first when i made contact with the company via email, within minutes i retrieved very fast responses from Emma and all of her paperwork and invoices were affordable and sent to me very promptly in which fast responses were important to me as i would like to purchase my house as quickly as possible, but also being cautious at all times. The team were very understanding and were able to provide ample amount of support and guidance throughout. The gentleman who attended my property was named Scott Oke, and he was very down to earth and highly experienced. Having used a previous surveying company before and now comparing it to this company, Hugh James Surveyors are second to none. On the day of the inspection, Scott spent a lot of time looking at each nut and cranny, within the property that i was looking to purchase and Steve offered support and guidance throughout. Scott was very thorough and he did not rush his inspection, to the point that he had even made comments on the feedback of the property regarding hairline cracks on certain tiles. Unfortunately for myself, while Scott was inspecting my property the loft hatch was unable to fully open due to the door obstructing the hatch, however Scott had tools in the back of his car and he kindly went above and beyond his line of duty and with my permission , took the hinge of the door in order for the latch to open and Scott then went and thoroughly inspected the loft. As Scott could see that i was curious about certain aspects of the property, he kindly stayed past the agreed time of the visit and explained in details any issues that i had a concern for. He was very thorough and precise and was happy to go walk through each room with me, on a step by step process explaining any problems or recommendations that he has. Scott is clearly very experienced and has an eagle eye when it comes to surveying. I would personally rate Hugh James Surveyors as a 5 STAR rating and i highly recommend anyone looking to get a surveyor to speak to Emma and Scott. I would just like to say thank you to you both for your astonishing work and i can not thank you and your team enough, for the support and guidance right from the start to the finish.
