Had to email chase up report a week after the survey date! Digital photos would have been very helpful through the survey report

The survey was carried out on the property on 20th January 2015. The report was delivered to the client on 27th January. Building Surveys take 7-10 working days to be completed, so this report was delivered well within this timeframe. Photos for all reports are available upon request.

Fixing up the survey was easy to do and the staff were helpful. Everything was done by e-mail and all documentation was clear and precise. The survey report was both helpful and well-written (despite a few typos) and, at the time of writing, I still have the option to discuss any issues found over the phone with the surveyor. I felt the price for the survey was extremely good and, had I not used reallymoving I should have paid a lot more. All in all I am very pleased and would recommend this company.

It was great to be able to talk to the surveyor the same day as the buildings survey was completed. A very good service & he was very helpful in going through everything with me.

The survey was ok, but when I followed the instructions to ask about something specific on the survey I received no reply. So the speed in which the survey was carried out was good and the report received in good time, the aftercare was poor

We commented on the movement on the front bay window, as pointed out to the client in detail in the Report. The client wanted to discuss our comments and concerns over the phone and we got back to them as soon as we could to reassure the client the movement appeared to be long standing and none progressive. As you can appreciate, as a Surveyor, a lot of time is spent out on site carrying out inspections, therefore we are not always able to contact clients until the end of the day. However, we will always ensure we respond to queries from our clients.

Having used reallymoving.com before and always happy with their recommendations, I thought I would use there service again.... Unfortunately trouble occurred with the recommended company. Firstly the surveyor did not attend the property at the date agreed, then having promised a report within a week, the report came late. We then agreed a date/time for the surveyor to go over the report with us. Again this did not happen. When I finally recived the report, I felt the report was very rushed and mistakes were made, and the surveyor was after more money

We booked the site visit for the inspection as soon as it was convenient with the vendor. We did highlight quite significant defects to the subject property and there was an area inaccessible, which we pointed out to the client over the telephone as soon as we were able to get hold of the client after the inspection, so that they were aware before committing further with the purchase. Regarding the timescale of publishing the report, we have to ensure we cover and include all the necessary information in regards to the condition of the property to enable the client to make a reasonable and informed decision as to whether to proceed with the purchase. At times the delivery of the report might be longer than anticipated in this regard due to further investigation or enquiries, however, we always advise the client. The client was concerned on whether to proceed with the purchase based on our recommendations and we strongly advised the client that further defects might exist in concealed areas (photographs were provided).
