Rochester is a very historic city and the major urban area that makes up the ‘Medway Towns’ at the mouth of the River Medway, which include Chatham and Gillingham. With a stunning cathedral and castle in the city, a lovely town centre, and trains to London only taking 40 minutes, it is no wonder Rochester is such a popular place to live, very popular with commuters as well as those who want a life closer to the coast.
