Egham is lovely little town in the Surrey countryside. Rumoured to have given its name to the famous Dr. Seuss book, but unlike his famous character, Sam, you are sure to fall for green Egham. The town has all the amenities that you can imagine including great shopping, lovely restaurants, and a new leisure centre. But it is the town’s incredible location in some of the greenest and most historic land around that will make you fall in love.

To the west of Egham is stunning Windsor, its famous castle, and the picturesque Windsor Great Park. To the East is the Runymede region of Surrey with beautiful green spaces, National Trust sites, and plenty of history of its own. Including the location of the signing of the Magna Carta and an impressive monument dedicated to this heritage.

If you’re more of the active type, Egham’s nearby reservoirs are popular with sailors, especially at the Silver Wing Sailing Club. For thrill seekers, the town is just a 10 minute drive to Thorpe Park amusement park. Egham has something for everyone, whether old or young. It is even considered a university town because of Royal Holloway’s local campus. While at just 30 minutes to Waterloo, Egham is part of the London commuter belt. Reallymoving can help you find the best surveyors in Egham.
